Houston, TX – February 1, 2017 – CSE Americas, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Gulf Coast Power and Control of Louisiana, LLC (GCPC). GCPC specializes in the design and production of hazardous location products and solutions for downstream applications in the US Gulf Coast region. GCPC’s portfolio includes, but is not limited to, switch gear, power distribution units, switch racks, motor control, control panels and temporary power systems.
According to Pat Holley, CEO of CSE Americas, the acquisition provides an ideal extension to CSE’s W-Industries of Louisiana division (W-Industries), headquartered in Maurice, Louisiana. “GCPC allows W-Industries the ability to expand its service base further downstream into petrochemical and refining, as well as into other industrial applications such as pulp and paper and water treatment. It will also open up opportunities for W-Industries to offer automation and integration services to GCPC’s loyal customer base. Much like W-Industries, GCPC has a reputation for high quality work and personalized service, it is a perfect fit.”
In announcing the acquisition, Donnie Smith, President and COO of W-Industries of Louisiana, welcomed GCPC founders DeWitt Poole and Brady Rutledge, to the CSE/W-Industries team. Both Poole and Rutledge will stay on with the GCPC group following the acquisition.
